0:44.9	As we studied yesterday, he is abounding in faithful love to his children. Today, we are going to
0:50.9	take a look at Exodus 37 through 40.
0:58.7	Just like yesterday, there will be a lot of repetition as we see the building of the tabernacle, its furnishings, and the priestly garments.
1:02.4	But when we come to chapter 40, it will be a celebration as we see the tabernacle set
1:08.0	up for the first time and God's glory dwell among his people.
1:11.9	And remember our first day in Exodus when we talked about the major themes in the book?
1:17.2	God's promises and presents will remain on display as the tabernacle is filled with his glory.
1:23.7	But before we come to chapter 40, let's take a quick look at some of the extra details we read about in chapters 37 through 39.
1:32.7	Chapter 37 recounts the building of the ark, the table, the lampstand, and the altar of incense.
1:40.2	We might wonder why Moses recorded both God's building instructions and then also Bezalel's completion of them.
1:47.2	That answer comes in the repetition of a statement we read over 15 times in these four chapters.
1:54.1	The phrase, just as the Lord commanded, declares not only God's faithfulness to bring these plans to completion, but also the people's obedience to do as God asked.
2:05.6	Israel had failed many times already, but as they prepared to erect this holy place to the Lord, they followed through in great obedience.
2:15.6	There are a couple of details for us to note as we read the account of the furnishings
2:20.3	and their completion.
