So let's take a look at chapters 34 through 36.

After Moses asked to see God's glory, God tells Moses to cut two new stone tablets and

take them up Mount Sinai.

Even though the original tablets had been broken, the law was still binding and God alone

would write them again for the generations to follow in obedience.

Since Moses climbs the mountain again, God comes down as a cloud and proclaims who he
