0:35.7	But first, I want to provide an outline and framework for our three chapters today and the
0:41.2	three chapters we study tomorrow.
0:44.1	These six chapters are known as the Sinai or Mosaic Covenant, an Exodus chapters 19-24.
0:51.9	It is in these chapters that God meets the nation of Israel at Mount Sinai.
0:57.4	He gives them the Ten Commandments, as well as the social ordinances and laws they are
1:02.7	to follow as a society, but more importantly as God's people.
1:08.6	Over the next two days, we will walk through some interesting laws.
1:13.0	Some may not sit well with us and some may be confusing.
1:17.0	As you read, keep in mind that God's plan and purpose was always the future redemption
1:22.6	provided through Jesus.
1:24.6	While some laws and the reasons behind them may still be hard to understand, our study
1:29.3	of them helps us remember God's thoughts and purposes are far greater than our own.
