There is a specific kind of quiet that took over the world in May of 2020.

You remember it.

The roads were empty, the woods felt deeper, and for a second there, the thin veneer of civilization felt like it was peeling back.

Well, some folks certainly felt it was apocalyptic, but in a very weirdly domestic way.

For myself, when it started to become all over the news, you could say.

My gut feeling was that there was something not right about this in that you talk

about a veneer way, that there's something about all this that was not very straightforward.

There was something about it that we all didn't know.

That's all I can say, but it just gave me a weird feeling, too.

And then we're all forced into our, our bubbles.

And so, uh, all this stuff made us feel very odd.

And a lot of people, if you could, retreated to nature to get outside.
