Hughes Scrunn became the first person to be killed by the serial killer, known as the Unabomber.

John Godi ordered the hit in a power grab.

After the murders, Gaudi became the new head of the Gambino family, which is the most powerful

For the entire month of December, the number one movie was Rocky 4.

The fourth film in the Rocky series is the most financially successful in the franchise.

For 24 years, it was the highest grossing sports movie.

Chahalas is primarily a logging and railroad town.

The Murrins were well known in the area.

They got married later in life when Ed was 57 and Minnie was 59.

Minnie's first husband had died in the 1950s. She had four children with him.

In 1985, Ed and Minnie had 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

The couple lived modestly, but their house was not a huge lot.

On their large plot of land, they grew and sold Christmas trees.

Both were members of the Catholic Church, and they were friends with people in their congregation.
