The specifics of why I'm happy with Costco is because they set up the lane markers at their gas station, the way it should be everywhere.

If you're approaching like self-checkouts at a grocery store, you shouldn't form a line behind whichever, like if there's two self-checkouts that are backed-to-back, you should form one line.

And then whichever goes first, then the next person goes.

That seems like a societal law. That seems like something everybody should know, but people don't.

So you could be standing a little bit back waiting for the next one to open up and then somebody will come and just get in line.

Yeah.

It drives me nuts, but Costco, I just noticed this, actually paints their lanes of traffic at their gas station on the con-creator asphalt or whatever it is.
