Hello and welcome to Out with Susie Ruffle this is series 2 episode 17.

Hello I hope that you're having a good day. I'm feeling very festive today.

We put up our Christmas tree this week. I've started doing some Christmas shopping and

whilst Christmas for us this year is going to be quite different. Normally we'd be

traveling all over the country seeing my family, seeing my partner family, doing a drive on Christmas day so we get to see

everyone.

This year we're not doing that.

We think it's probably wiser for us to stay in London.

We've got a couple of visitors coming up at different points, but it's going to be a far more low-key Christmas for us. But I think it will be lovely and quite excited to feel even more festive to put on Christmas film, Watch It's a Wonderful Life,

probably have a good cry, a glass of champagne, why not?

And stop for a little while, even though we've sort of been stopped a bit this year but there's something different

isn't there about that lead up to Christmas and the week between Christmas and New Year if you're not working.

I've been in scenarios where I've worked before during that week certainly when I was a waitress,

loads and loads and waitressing on Boxing Day and things like that. But this year it's going to be pretty low-key

for me, which I'm rather excited for. I hope that if you celebrate Christmas you have got some nice plans and if you don't celebrate Christmas I hope that you have a rest for week maybe.
