so I've asked one to join me and talk about the legal news. Today's guest co-host is Elliot Williams,

I think we need to talk about the controversy from the last time you were on. We do. Yeah.

Joking aside, like we, I owe an apology to somebody, and that's Stella Lebeck, who is the individual

back in the 1990s who was burned by McDonald's coffee.

We, using that case as an example, it was just not, for a host of reasons, was not the right

case to point to, to make light of, particularly given that somebody suffered as a result of

corporate negligence. And yeah, that story became a punchline for a very long time,

but it's not. It's both sort of unillegal, but also personal level. It's just not the kind of

story to be joking about. So I'm sorry to her, to her family. And most importantly, more than anything

else, I'm sorry for distracting all of us from the important things we were talking about,

right? Because that example that I and we used was in the context of talking about birthright

citizenship, which is a really big thing we should not take our eye off of. But, you know,

the best, we're all human and the best we can do is just to try to do better and try to not use examples like that again.

So here we are.

You know, the beauty of this forum is that one, people are really, really engaged.
