Got to remember where I am these days.

I almost say welcome to Stockton City Council because we are in these streets.

I have to say, I did an interview the other day with Blavity.

Shout to Blavity Morgan and all them over there.

And I was talking about the power of media and this newfound digital era of independent free media.

And the one thing that I was asked is, how do you differentiate being the vice mayor, city councilman, and Jason Lee?

And I really feel like I'm the same person, no matter where I am. Obviously, I'm more entertaining here. Well, I'm entertaining that council too. Very. But I'm not trying to entertain there. I'm just passionately speaking. That's the way that I, I actually talk a lot calmer in council meetings than I do in our own meetings, right? At 100%. Is it because I just, I'm an animated person. I'm black, I'm Italian, and I'm a Leo. And I think the decorum is different at a government, a public government meeting. Is it? I didn't even know what decorum was until I took office. They're like decorum, you're probably in decorum. Decorum means the way you're supposed to behave.

Yeah.

Right.

Well, listen, passion is what it is.

Passion is my purpose.

I'm back here, the podcast, that there's so much going on.

I've done so much press that I am all pressed out.

This past weekend I went to, or last weekend, rather, I went to Atlanta to watch Cardi B.

Two performances, her last performances, baby, when I tell you, it was a weekend in Atlanta.

I have to tell you, there are more of us out there than anything, and I run into everybody. I went on this date. And I have to tell you, all of you fans out there that watch this and support this podcast, I love you to death. But you guys are messy. And I think I've conditioned you to be messier. Maybe you all were just messy and you found me and we've just bonded over the mess. Because I went to, I promised him I would go on a date. This was the week that I felt like I was ready to fall in love. I think I am, I probably over that now. I don't know where I am, but I went on a date. And I was sitting, I said, you know what? I'm going to do something regular. I'm going to go out to a brunch spot with no security.

I'm just going to like, you know, pop out. No, I know. We're going to talk about ice spice. Right. Today. This is before ice spice, obviously. So I go on, go to there. We pull up. There's a long line of people. And then he goes, oh, we're not going to get in.

We don't have a reservation.

I was like, we're going to get in.

So I walk up, of course, the comment. long line of people. And then he goes, oh, we're not going to get in. We don't have a reservation.
