Welcome back to our new episode of the Jason Lee podcast.

Oh my God, we've been gone for a couple weeks.

Not because we don't want to be here.

We just got a lot going on.

But we're here.

And we're alive and well.

So Rob was just telling me how he's going to scam the insurance company for being run over.

I'm not scamming the insurance company. No, but you got hit by a car. Correct. How did you get hit by a car, but yet you're still standing? I was walking out of the grocery store, and a woman just wasn't paying attention, and she plowed into me with her car, and I fell over her car. Wait, the funniest part was, what did she tell you before she pulled off and left you there? She said, is this my mirror? Thank you. She grabbed her mirror out of my hand and drove off because her, my body knocked the mirror off of her car. That's how hard she hit me. And I had to go to physical therapy. My back is still messed up. So I just, you know, I want my audience that Rob believes only shows up for him to just really have empathy for the fact that this guy has been ran over by a non-insured motorist and got shingles in the same month.

Correct.

But you're still here.

Yes. Allegedly. Wait, wait a. Thank you. Thank you. I'm glad you're still here because, bro, who going to run all this if you get ran over and died? You know, like, I always, they're not copied for you getting ran over. I always tell my staff, like, you know, make sure when you go home, two things. One, don't get hit by a car. And two, make sure that Nikki Minaj's goons aren't chasing you because you need to come to work. And I need all of you. But look, I'm glad you're here. Glad you're well. I've had a crazy, amazing week in New York City where I did lots and lots and lots of interviews. I did some here in LA too before I went to New York. I did that after I went to Dallas for a day.

Shout to everybody in Dallas who showed me love. And then I've been home again with city

council and city stuff. And even though I took some time away from the city, I never really take vacation. I never take, I'm always still peeking over to emails, responding to emails. And, you know, Stockton, uh, you know, I love what I'm doing as the vice mayor of Stockton. Lots going on there. But I just want to shout out all the podcasters and everybody who has been promoting my show moving to BET season four of the Jason Lee show is over there, baby.

Baby, baby, baby, baby.
