Tonight's episode, the Night Shift Protocol.

Tonight we're headed into the sterile, fluorescent-lit halls of the night shift at a hospital.

It's an environment where the veil between life and death is constantly being crossed so much,

the machinery left behind might be used to request clearance for departure. Well, we all know that hospitals are inherently liminal spaces

and great ghost hunting grounds, much like theaters, churches, and then you have hospitals.

Now, I would love to see the data on which one gets more

ghost evidence, but in any of those areas, you're dealing with high emotion and exhaustion

and passing souls on a daily basis, more so at hospitals. But if you think about it, church is

a lot of emotion there and also connected with death often.

And theaters, you're acting all that out. So it's interesting where you do get a lot of this

kind of activity. But tonight's story is particularly unsettling in a way, I guess, because

it takes a piece of mundane, everyday medical equipment and turns it into a paranormal trigger.
