What have you been up to, Dad?

I was in Tunisia. i was in the tunisian

sahara uh-huh um while diana was riding a camel sunny christmas it was it was very sunny

but cold i had to put my long johns on very very good sunshine beautiful weather but really cold

wind cold in the daytime as well cold in in the daytime as well. You really did need three layers. Really? I didn't know. I thought it was just hot all the time in the desert. No, not at all. In that effect, that's one of the many myths about the Sahara is that it's hot all the time. Well, actually it isn't't and it can be very cold and you have to be very careful.

Oh I knew it's cold in the desert in the night time but I didn't know it was cold in the daytime when it was sunny.

Yes we also went to the Doos Festival which is rather a big event in a town called Doos in Tunisia in which which cameliers from around the country and also from Algeria

come to race.

Oh, camel racing is a big thing.

Full circuit and they have particularly on the Saturday, they have the marathon, which is 40 kilometres.

And cameliers come from, we went to see all the camels arriving and the riders arriving in it. Almost like Epsom. Amazing. Did you take photos on your phone? Diana's got lots of photographs. Okay. And she's going to put some of them on her website. Maybe we could have one. We'll put it on our Instagram page. We could, yeah. I'll get some. I'll send it to me.

Yeah, I will. Okay. So that's where I was. And I only got back on Tuesday, late afternoon, early evening. It was there for like two weeks or something. Just under. Just under. I missed you. And Diana spent three nights in the desert. Uh-huh. And I reworked my novel. How's the novel?
