Welcome to Raising Good Humans. I'm Dr. Alisa Presman and today is part one of a two-part

0:13.7

episode with RIT Hawthorne on raising anti-racist children. RIT is a nationally recognized anti-racist

exact same place, but the capacity to have the conversation and to figure out how to have it with

1:40.9

your kids and with other adults in your life. These things are going to be such an important skill

1:47.4

and so we kept it in. Part two of this episode will come out on Monday and also on Monday,

subscribe, rate, and write a little review. We're going to begin with what may seem like an obvious

2:26.4

question. Britt, for the purposes of this conversation, will you please define racism? Yes, and I
