Welcome to Raising Good Humans. I'm Dr. Lisa Pressman and today's episode is just us together.

0:13.6

It's the bonus episode where I answer listener questions and talk about topics that have come up.

0:19.8

So today's topics are sleep and interrupting. So I'm answering listener questions about sleep

0:27.4

challenges and teaching kids how and when to interrupt and when to keep a little quiet and get

0:35.6

some patience. So I pulled some listener questions about sleep because we have a sleep episode and

0:45.2

I thought we could continue the conversation. The first listener question is my three girls share

1:43.5

possible because sometimes that causes more struggles and difficulty than before. So if you want

1:51.4

to keep your two-year-old in the room with the other two children then you might say you have two

1:59.4

choices. You can stay in the room quietly and I'll come and check on you and you'll say exactly

2:06.4

when you're going to come check and you'll say I'm going to check three times and these are going

2:12.0

to be the intervals but I'm coming when you're super quiet and your other choice is that you can

2:16.9

sleep in the hallway, the bathroom with the door open, somewhere else that you can arrange

2:24.3

until you're ready to be quiet so that your siblings can sleep. Now the other option is yes,
