We don't believe victims of stalking should suffer in silence.

We're very proud to give them a platform in order to come forward and be able to share their

story with our listeners.

In the podcast world, there weren't many spaces for victims to just come forward and be able to

share their stories. Our whole philosophy is that we believe the victims when they come forward.

We don't want to shut people down. We don't want people to feel like they're alone, isolated or

crazy. We want them to feel good about coming forward and telling us their story.

When people aren't believed, it has a major impact on their mental health. I think that ultimately

people start to second guess their own instincts and that can actually get them into really bad

situations. In Katie's case, she had no support from anyone around her. The police didn't

believe her. I thought she was a liar. The community, when she informed the community about what

was going on, she was actually mocked. So this really took a tragic toll on her mental health.

She moved back into her childhood home to feel comfortable and safe, but it turned into a nightmare

because there was someone watching her all the time. My mom and I were asleep one night and

I think it was maybe like one or two in the morning. I don't remember exactly, but our

lunch started going off. And obviously we freaked out and eventually I got the courage to go

downstairs with my phone in my hand and somehow they had gone our garage door open and had

opened the door, like kicked in the door from the garage to the house and that door was sitting

wide open.
