Summary

Dianne McDonald was stalked by a man who drove her friend to suicide. After she ended a short relationship she found out her ex secretly made a duplicate set of her house keys, installed a location tracker on her phone, and followed her. His stalking continued for years as he posted demeaning flyers about Dianne around town, and vandalized her car and house. He turned his attention to Dianne's best friend and stalked her so relentlessly that she took her own life. Then Dianne's stalker blamed Dianne for her own friend's death and told her she had "blood on her hands." Dianne took heroic steps to bring her stalker to justice and is now working with Victorian magistrates to impose electronic monitoring for all convicted stalkers.
