So what happened is, um,

oh god, it was crazy.

The principal was screamed the whole time. She didn't stop screaming. She was going to kill herself.

She was calm people by name. She needed help.

2596 Girl School Road, the Indianapolis Women's Prison.

Oh, we have a woman that has attempted to hang herself. She's received a TPR for the last 15 minutes.

I was there when they took off the life support. I watched the decrease in her breaths.

I watched all of that.

Prinsola Shields died after hanging herself at the Indiana Women's Prison.

She was 19. The Indian Department of Correction didn't release much information about her death.

A spokesman confirmed to reporters that Prinsola died by an apparent suicide and an investigation was underway.

But the women at IWP knew something went horribly wrong.

That included Noel Green. Noel had been a sort of mom to Prinsola in prison.

She watched as Prinsola was dragged screaming out of the cafeteria for what seemed like a minor uniform infraction.

It was the last time Noel would see her. Within days, she found out Prinsola was dead.

She was my friend. They just treated her life like it was nothing. Who cares?

It's just so unjust. And how they treat us.

And what they do behind those fences, it's worse than half the shit the most the girls are in there for.
