0:34.1	We are making our way through Deuteronomy and today we come to chapters 19 through 21.
0:40.9	We are in the section of Moses' final speeches known as the specific stipulations.
0:48.0	And as you read today, you likely saw just how specific they were.
0:53.1	There are a lot of things happening in these chapters and I don't blame you if you
0:57.0	zoned out at some point as you read or even said, huh?
1:01.0	When you finished, this is why we are walking through this as a community so that we can
1:06.7	help each other understand difficult passages and see how they point to Jesus.
1:12.3	As we've done with previous days, we are allowing the Ten Commandments mentioned in chapter
1:17.9	5 to guide us through the specific stipulations of Moses' sermon or speech.
1:24.6	The sixth commandment, do not murder, is the overarching theme through all three of our
1:30.5	chapters today.
1:32.4	But more specifically, the sanctity of life is to guide the nation and all they do.
1:39.1	No matter what scenario, manslaughter, court witnesses, war, unsolved murder, captives
1:46.3	or rebellious children, God values life because He is the author of life.
