| 1:37.2 | refer to as the dispensational view that the promises made to the nation of Israel and the Old Testament |
| 1:41.9 | are literal, and they will be literally fulfilled in all their detail in the future. The future from, |
| 1:49.3 | I guess, both a new New Testament perspective, like from the future of Jesus' perspective, |
| 1:56.5 | but also even from our perspective. Certain dispensationalist might even look to certain current |
| 2:02.5 | events in the 20th century, like the foundation of the state of Israel, maybe various wars that |
| 2:07.7 | often happen in the Middle East as evidence that things are starting to take shape, that these |
| 2:15.2 | things sort of precede the future work to God's going to do among the nation state of Israel. |
