Hello chickpeeps. Welcome back to season two. Oh my God, I can't believe we're here. It's been a whole year. Yeah, we said we'd be back in fall. Technically we are back in the fall just a year after that fall. Exactly. We took a summer break for two summers.

But no, I appreciate you guys for coming back. We're so happy to be back. And I'm sorry it's taken so long. But I wanted to be the best it can be. And for this podcast to be a source of joy and inspiration. So we needed to restructure some things, which we did. And here we are. If you're new to the podcast, hello, we are the chickpeeps. We are the best vegan and animal rights podcast out there. I'm your host, Evie Lynch, and I am joined by my four, oh, three. Well, four, because Puff is here too. A lot has happened in the vegan scene in our vegan lives. And we thought we would just have a little catch-up episode. Also, today is November 1st. Happy Vegan Day. Happy World world vegan day it's a good time to be a

vegan and um yeah so just to let you know this is our first episode back but there's also could be

another episode out on wednesday and after that it will be every Wednesday to infinity not to

infinity but for a while so um I thought I'd catch everyone up on what, well, just check in with what everyone's

been doing for the past year in your vegan lives. So, Momo, if you could start us off,

how are you? What have you been up to and what has changed in your world? I am good. Thank you.

I'm very happy to be back. Things that have changed my vegan world. Well, one main thing I've started doing is working for Wicked Healthy.

And in season one, you guys might have heard our interview with Derek Sano, who was one of

the Sarno bros, who started that up.

And this is amazing because these guys are creating incredible plant-based products for meat

eaters that are available in the biggest mainstream supermarket in the UK. And they've actually just disrupted the meat aisle, which means they have their own plant-based meat available in the meat aisle of the supermarket. So that's a great thing. I think that's amazing. Some people aren't so sure. But I think we've got to think of the animals first, always. And this is the best way to help people transition, in my opinion. So that's been fun. That's amazing. Yeah, it's a big thing. I think it's a long anticipated move from the company. You can probably hear puff meowing in the background. I thought that was a parrot. What's happened to puff since we took a break? She sounds like a velociraptor now.

Yeah.

Yeah, she's a little out of practice. She hasn't been at the mic for a while. She's just training. Use those vocal cords. That's all. She's got a warm up about it. Yeah, that's what that is. She's become a miniature dinosaur. Good tonight. Puff, will that you have your turn in a second?
