My name is Tiffany and I want to spend a few minutes with you every day walking through

the Bible chronologically.

Together, we will explore God's sovereign plan as the events of Scripture unfold and

point to Jesus.

Hey, here in the Bible family, welcome back to the podcast.

Tiffany here and our journey through Acts continues with chapters 7 through 9 today,

as we encounter three different men and their roles in spreading the gospel.

Stephen, Philip, and Saul all have unique ways in which God used them as the gospel

moved from Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

As we chat through the events surrounding each man today, remember that God has a plan

for each of his children to be used to share the good news of Christ.

We must be willing and obedient to go, no matter the cost.

We begin today with Stephen.

At the close of Acts 6 yesterday, we were introduced to Stephen, who was one of the seven

deacons chosen to serve the widows and care for the poor.

Acts 6 also tells us that Stephen was filled with wisdom, grace, and power.

He had a good reputation among believers, and he boldly proclaimed the gospel, while

also performing great wonders and signs in Christ's name.

Opposition arose from the Friedman's synagogue.
