My name is Tiffany, and I want to spend a few minutes with you every day walking through

the Bible chronologically.

Together, we will explore God's sovereign plan as the events of Scripture unfold and point

to Jesus.

Our journey through the book of Acts continues today as we take a look at Acts, chapters 10 through 12.

In these chapters, we will see the gospel come to the Gentiles officially and the implication

of Peter's vision of the clean and unclean animals.

Across these chapters, the promised God made in the Old Testament that salvation would

come for His people and the nations will be evident as people from every tribe and tongue

are welcomed at the foot of the cross to receive grace and forgiveness through Christ.

But this truth will challenge the Jewish believers thinking, and we will see necessary

heart change even from Peter.

Yesterday, we focused on Stephen, Philip, and Saul.

Today, our focus shifts back to Peter.

After Saul was sent to Tarsus, the narrative returns to the ministry of Peter.

Scripture tells us that he traveled from place to place, healing and sharing the gospel.

A man named Amias was healed from his paralysis in the town of Lida, and a woman named Dorcus

was raised from the dead in the Mediterranean town of Japa.
