I think we need some sound effects to celebrate another 100 episodes and join the Journey podcast.

Emma, I, like, I am excited to listen to myself because I listen to the podcast every day,

usually on my drive, but if not on a drive, on a walk or something else.

And I just love, like, let's just all celebrate.

We are, as our church, like, we're reading the Bible together. And I love hearing the voices of different members and hearing their perspectives on what they've learned from

God's word. And it just makes, Watermark's a big church, but it makes it feel a little bit smaller,

being able to meet and hear from different voices. and you facilitate that. So thank you so much

for your love for God's word, your love for God's people, and for bringing us all together around

the Bible. And that's what we're going to do today. Yes. Thank you, David. I love it. I feel like I get to

come to work and do what God made me to do, which is a good job. It is. Thank you. Well, David, I was thinking, this is your fourth time on the podcast. We've skipped a step.

Okay. You never got to share about your family, about your life. I ask every guest, but I've never asked you to introduce yourself.

Okay, let's do it. Short bio, because I want to get into today's passage passage and maybe we'll make the big church feel a little

bit smaller. I have loved serving at Watermark since 2002. So I have been here for a while more than 20

years and it was at Watermark that I met my wife, Ali. Shout out. You don't know her. She's amazing.

And we're so grateful to be raising three children, Chapman, Cole, and Annabelle in this body of believers. Church is a big part of our family's lives. Now, I'm originally not from Texas. Although I was born, I was born in Amarillo.
