1:00.2 | walls of our church. Love it. And for me, God has given me a big heart for community building, |
1:04.8 | both people being fully known and fully loved, and also community development, getting to help |
1:08.5 | raise up those around us. And so for a long time, I saw that solely through the prism of nonprofit worked. |
1:14.5 | It's easy to bring people together and to do good. |
1:16.7 | Sure. |
1:17.1 | But God did a work in my heart and helped me see the local church is God's plan A. |
1:22.1 | Who better, who else than the body of Christ to get to show up for their neighbor? |
1:26.6 | And we get to model the gospel in word and deed in the way that we care for those around us. |
1:31.2 | And so God invited me into the work that we're doing here in which we do get to go out and reach our city. |
