Tiffany here and today we head back to Second Kings, chapters 9 through 10.

These two chapters are the culmination of the message God gave to Elijah concerning the

demise of Ahab's family back in First Kings, chapters 19 and 21.

And if the events seem somewhat familiar, we also studied them briefly several days

ago when we studied Second Chronicles chapter 22.

But here in Second Kings, we are given many more details as we see the consequences of Ahab's

and his family's sin.

And we will see how God begins to discipline all of Israel for their rebellion and worship

Today's chapters can feel heavy and gruesome.

But that is when we have to remember who we serve, God is holy and just and sin has consequences,
