Hey, Emma, how's it going? I'm excited to be here.

So good, Matt. I'm glad to have you here. We're going to dive into Second Samuel 22.

But before we get there, we'd love to hear a little bit more about your story.

How'd you come to know the Lord and then fast forward? What's going on in

your world today? Yeah, thanks, Emma. So I grew up here in Dallas and, you know, had two faithful

parents that really taught me God's words. So while I knew the right things to say and he'd even put my

faith in him at a young age, the reality is, is when I was a little bit

older, my faith really wasn't my own. And so I really had to wrestle with who is God. And

in the middle of that wrestling, it also had really lived two different lives, putting my identity

into sports, into relationships,

and, you know, struggling with lust at the same time. But through all that, the Lord was so

faithful to draw me back to him through just some amazing friends, faithful friends,

through a small group, through some faithful teammates, and just people that consistently showed

me what it looked like to be God's man. So I'm grateful. And then, yeah, it's so fun to be back

here at Watermark pursuing the Lord. I love it. I'm glad you're back and here with us today.
