Tiffany here, and today our journey takes us to Paul's first letter to the Thessalonians.

We will cover all five chapters of First Thessalonians today, so buckle up for some context

and a quick overview of this letter.

As we walk through these encouraging words from Paul, we will be reminded that our God

who calls us to walk in sanctification is faithful and He will enable us to do it.

Now think back to yesterday, when we read about Paul's second missionary journey in Acts

17 and 18, while in Thessalonica, many came to Christ, but the local Jews incited a rebellion

Paul didn't get to stay in Thessalonica to disciple the new believers as long as he wished.
