I was on the Join the Journey podcast a while ago and we're there for

it'll be in that podcast. With that, let's go ahead and hop in and talk through numbers.

As far as today goes, we're going to talk about Numbers 12. I want to set the stage. The book of

numbers is essentially the bridge between the Israelites receiving the law and leaving Egypt and

then them moving towards the promised land. God used Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt and

slavery. The Israelites set up camp at Mount Sinai.

God establishes his covenant with Moses to make Israel a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.

God then begins by giving them the law and the requirements for setting up the tabernacle.

In doing this, he is making a way to lead them and to truly set them

apart. As he is guiding them, his holy people, away from Mount Sinai and into the wilderness

towards the promised land, we see in Numbers 10, the Israelites begin complaining about hunger,

thirst, and wanting to go back to Egypt.

Then enters Numbers 12, where Moses' brother and sister complain about Moses in front of everybody.
