Can I call you doc?

I only make my older sister call me that. That's fair. You know, I am an older sister. I could see my

younger sister will be a doctor one day. That's what siblings do. She'll, yeah. Well, we have a

fun chapter today. Exodus 30. We've got a lot of things in here, specifically anointing

oil. Yeah, I've never heard anyone say that their favorite chapter in the Bible is Exodus 30.

I can't say I have either. It is God's Word. It is. And it's here for a reason. And I would imagine

that a lot of us at this point in the reading plan, we flipped the page. Oh, man, it's another

chapter of instructions and lists and things that

maybe don't make a lot of sense. How should we approach passages like this one? Yeah. A couple of things

that I'd say is, you know, when we think about a big picture, maybe 30,000-foot view, God cares about his presence because he is holy.

And, you know, one of the things we see from the tabernacle that laid a kind of a movable tent that then becomes, you know, a permanent temple when they settle in the land.
