to hang out with her better half. Better half, I don't know about that. You don't know about that?

Okay, her other half. There it is. Her other half. In an effort to make a big church feel small, Carter,

tell us a little bit about where you serve in the church, how you came to Watermark. What are you up to

these days? Absolutely. So Carter Smith here, originally from Austin, but met my wife, Becca, at A&M, Gygham. Gagum.

And then eventually found our way to Dallas.

And now I'm a Dallas fireman.

And my station's actually down there kind of near the South Dallas campus.

Which you told me before we started, Dallas firefighters are also paramedics.

That's true.

So you're like double crossed.

Double crossed. Is that the official way to say it?

Oh, yeah. Double-trained. I love it. Double-trained. But now I'm a shoreline leader,

and we just had D-Town, which was a lot of fun. Have you recovered? No. Yeah. Will I ever? Not sure.
