Dirkmont, and I'm joined by my friend Richard Leduke.

So in the last episode, we talked about some of the early antagonists to Joseph Smith,

Hadley and Campbell.

And we talked about how Hadley's criticism was that Joseph's too illiterate,

to produce anything, because the book Mormon hasn't been produced yet,

and this is gonna be, it's gonna be absolutely ridiculous

that he would even think that he'd be able

to produce something like that.

Then Campbell, once the book Mormon is produced

and there are early converts, he says says Joseph Smith is a liar who wrote the

entire thing. We ended with Iber Howe with Iber Howe. And so picking up there, what's going on?

Yeah, Iber Howe is, so he's coming essentially, most of what he's going to say is after Campbell, right?

So after Campbell has just dismissed the whole thing as Joseph Smith's fabrication,

how is going to end up taking a different tack?

And it starts with his embracing the arguments that are made by the man, Dr. Philastus Hurlbutt, which we ended off talking about.
