I'm Ivy, your ghostly host with the most and keeper of the strangest,

spookiest tales on earth.

Today is another Ivy's chilling tale.

This phantasmic tale story club members might make you stay off the beach after dark.

It's one I call the party of Horror Beach.

One October, my friends Autumn and Willow and I were invited to a Halloween party at a place called Horror Beach. It's a tiny peninsula

off the coast of southwestern Oregon. It's called Horror Beach, as there's been dozens of

shipwrecks over the last 150 years, where hundreds of sailors and fishermen have died,

their waterlogged bodies washing up on the rocks. Though there's a lighthouse on the point, it's done very little to deter ships from wrecking.

The last shipwreck was on October 31st, Halloween, just a few short years ago.

A fishing ship, the Archer Nelly, crashed into the underwater rocks that jut out from the coastline. All 13 personnel

on board were drowned as the boat wrecked during a violent storm. As the fishermen tried to escape

in lifeboats, they were thrashed into the sea. Their bodies were never recovered.

Although I found the stories of the shipwreckcks tragic, I also found them pretty fascinating.

And luckily, my friends Autumn Nash and Willow Yates were with me at the Halloween party on horror beach.

Autumn is like a spiritual barometer. She can detect psychic energy changes better than most mediums I know.

Willow Yates, of course, doesn't like ghosts or stories of tragedies,

but having her along is always good luck as she's sort of a ghost magnet.

Spooks and spirits and shadowy shapes always seem to show up when willows around.

When we arrived on the beach for the party, it was freezing.

We were told to dress warm, as octobers on the Oregon coast aren't exactly known to be balmy.
