Hello again, Story Club members. I'm Ivy, your ghostly host with the most and keeper of the

strangest, spookiest tales on earth. Today is another Ivy's chilling tale. This grabbing

tale, story club members, might make you stay away from metallic scratching outside your car.

It's an urban legend I call a hook for a hand.

So here's a story I heard from my second cousin's best friend's sister, and it goes something like this.

Her name was April.

She and her boyfriend Judd were in high school and they

went to the homecoming football game. Later on, they went out for pizza and root beers and decided to go

check out a popular hangout spot by the lake where teenagers like to park their cars. Judd parked the car in a

remote spot away from the other cars. He turned the knob on the radio to find some nice, romantic songs.

As he did, he happened to catch a news bulletin that there was a dangerous criminal

who had escaped from the nearby Gentle Grove Hospital, an institution for the criminally insane.

The escapee, Henry Lee Bundy, was distinguished because he had a hook where his right-handed been,

which was due to a childhood farming accident.

Bundy, the news reporter warned, was considered extremely unstable and dangerous.

Judd thought it was an interesting story.

April was more alarmed, thinking that they should leave immediately.

After all, Gentle Grove Hospital was only in the next county over.

Judd rolled his eyes.

They were already here, Judd said.

They should stay for a bit.

And besides, if a serial killer did show up,
