So I'm about to say something mildly shocking, maybe even scandalous.

But after nearly 20 years of planting a garden religiously every single year, I have decided not to plant my outdoor garden this year.

And I realize for the average American human, that's not a very shocking statement.

For someone like me who has preached gardening and has done this for so long and is such a

huge proponent of growing your own food, like this may come as a shock.

So if you've ever felt bogged down or you feel like you're a homesteading out of obligation, or you feel like you're doing anything out of obligation, this might be an episode that you find worthwhile.
