0:00.0	From NBII Studios, this is Truth and Justice, a crowdsourced investigation in real time. I'm Bob Ruff. Over the last two weeks, I shared with you the path to Chris Bynum's so-called confession.
0:43.5	You heard his first statement, Shaky McIntosh's statement, Chris's story about Shaky threatening his family,
0:49.6	and finally Chris's February 20th statement, where he removed both Shaky and Terrell from his narrative.
0:55.6	In that final statement, Amp went to the ballpark with Chris, Sheila, and Liz. He shot both women,
1:01.0	and then he and Chris walked back to Amp's house. There, Chris accidentally shot Amp in a struggle,
1:06.9	and then shot and killed both Angela and Suzanne as they rushed him. Chris claimed in his post-conviction
1:12.5	relief testimony that the first statement was coerced out of him by Detective Louis Donald,
1:18.0	by threatening to put Chris's fiance in jail and sending his young son into foster care.
1:23.6	Then the second statement was coerced by Shaky threatening his family.
1:30.4	In today's episode, we're going to fill in some gaps in the story.
1:34.4	Up to this point, we've heard Dr. Jackson explain how Chris's girlfriend,
1:39.4	Shanita, had shared with her that she was held at the police station for several hours on the day Chris was arrested. We've also heard Chris's testimony about seeing Shanita in the precinct during his
1:45.2	interrogation. Today we're going to hear directly from Shanita. Sort of. We're going to hear from
1:51.7	her in the same way that we heard from Chris and Shaky. Through a transcript-like statement
1:56.5	taken on the very same evening that Chris signed one of his own. Before I read that statement to you, I want to clarify a timeline of events on February 18th.
2:06.3	The first relevant event of the day was Shanita being pulled over by police and taken into the station.
2:11.9	There's no report in the file that documents the time, but we get a little bit of clarification on it later.
2:18.2	What we do know is that Shaneneida was taken to the station before Chris was picked up.
2:23.6	She helped the police locate him at her mother's house, and we do have a timestamp for that.
2:29.7	According to the arrest report, Chris was arrested at the Walker residence, while actually at the neighbor's house, at 1245 p.m.
2:37.9	That's pretty consistent with Chris's memory of the day as he explained in his PCR testimony.
2:42.5	He said that he thought it had to be around noon or possibly before noon.
