Arousal is different than desire, right? Desire, I think, is where we have participation. We can sin. We can lust. We can use people. Right. Or we can participate for good. Your body is wired to go through the arousal cycle. But you will not injure yourself medically. You will not injure yourself by stopping ever,

period. Again, there's such a pull right now. Can you feel it? Yeah. To decide, well,

where's the line? Yes, exactly. That's the pole. Where's the line where I'm sitting or not? Is it

oral sex? Yeah. What if we don't ever take clothes off? But we do lots of stuff.

It's okay to draw wise lines for yourself.

But if what you're doing is saying,

well, just tell me where sin starts and where it's not.

Because I want to go right up to that line every time.

But that's not how God is.

God is inviting you to co-create your life.

So most of us have never really had a sex talk.

You know, the birds and the bees, I'm 30 years old and I'm still waiting on mine for my dad. And I just,

I cannot ever forget growing up in the church, evangelical church, whenever that S word came up,

it was like, okay, out little kids. When I was a teenager, even as a young adult as a single,

it was just like, all right, now you're tired, get out of the room, go put on your, you know, headphones, get on your iPad, play on your Game Boy, the adults, the marries are going to talk about sex. You can't even talk about it if you're a single. And I just,

I think that makes me so sad retroactively even to today because even the word sex came

with so much shame as a single. Like it's just the forbidden

fruit that you can't even talk about. And that's why I'm so excited for today's episode. Sam Joelman,

remember reading his book in the first chapter, I could tell the sex talk you never
