Summary

This is a special preview of the Underestimated podcast. Bob's students worked on a series of 6 different cases throughout the school year. This is the second to last episode in the Janette Roberson series. The final episode will air here, later today. This is a great example of the incredible work that the students did this year. In this episode, the students apply the teachings of renowned FBI Profiler Jim Clemente to Janette's case. They analyze Janette's victimology and the crime scene behaviors. All of this information is used to develop a profile that suggests the original investigators were looking in the wrong direction from the very beginning.

0:00.0	Hello everybody and welcome back to truth and justice after a one week vacation.
0:08.4	For me, I'm recording this right before I leave on vacation.
0:13.0	And I've got good news and bad news.
0:15.5	The bad news is I had promised you guys that you were going to hear from Amanda Knox today.
0:20.7	And that was the plan.
0:22.2	Bad news for me is, as I'm recording this, about 30 minutes before we were supposed to record
0:27.4	that interview, I got word from Amanda that she was not going to be able to make it.
0:32.1	She wanted to reschedule in a couple of days out.
0:34.1	But as I told you guys, I was leaving for vacation, like literally right after
0:39.3	this. This is the last thing I was going to do before I went. So I needed to come up with something.
0:44.4	The good news is I'm not leaving you with nothing for this week. I had to think of something like
0:47.9	really quick like I had an hour. And this is what I came up with and I think it's going to be
0:52.3	great for you guys. So what I'm going to do is the good news part is you're going to get two episodes today.
0:59.8	One of them is dropping at 6 o'clock in the morning, if you're one of those bright listeners that listens first thing.
1:04.8	The other one's going to drop about noon today.
1:07.0	And those two episodes are actually two of the episodes from the underestimated podcast. As you guys know, this is the podcast that my students put
1:14.3	together, they've been working on for an entire year, they just finish them up.
1:18.6	There are about 16 episodes that aired before these two, and then there are still, I think,
1:24.3	five or six or seven more to come after this on the underestimated feed.
