Hello everyone and welcome back to truth and justice. Before I begin, just in case you notice that things sound a little bit different this week than they normally do.

That's because I'm recording this in my school studio rather than my home studio.

So last week in the main and follow-up episodes we worked on a

behavioral and statement analysis of richard allen's recently released first recorded police interview

that interview was about an hour and 20 minutes long and closely followed the structure of a

classic reed technique interrogation the detectives started out building rapport with Alan and used

that time to establish some baseline behaviors. After that, they worked towards getting Alan to put

a story on the record about what he was doing on the day of the murders. To refresh your memories,

Alan said that he was off work that day. He started his morning off by going to visit his mother,

and at around 11 a.m.

His sister arrived, and the family was going out to lunch. But rather than going with them,

Rick instead went home. He said that around noon he headed to the trails where the Monon

High Bridge was located. In this version of the story, he said that he arrived at the trails around

noon. He was unable or unwilling to recall where he parked, but said that he arrived at the trails around noon. He was unable or unwilling to recall

of three girls. He said that it seemed like one of the girls was older and was maybe babysitting
