That's because as promised in last week's follow-up, I wanted to repost the interview that I did with Andrew Collins. He was a former Benton Harbor police officer and I interviewed him a couple of years ago about his experience working in Benton Harbor, the corruption that he was involved in, the consequences from that.

And really it's just a great interview to understand the culture around the

Benton Harbor Police Department in the early 2000s.

So this is an episode that was posted a couple of years ago. If you heard it or

you remember it, don't worry about it. But if you're interested in listening to it or

re-listening to it, I thought I'd post it here so you didn't have to go back

through all the episodes and try to find it.

Andrew Collins. He was a former Benton Harbor Police Department here in Benton Harbor

Michigan just about 20 minutes from where I live right now.

As a matter of fact, a lot of the people he's talking about in this interview, I know them, personally.

Andrew Stoddard off his career in the police force is a 21-year year old kid who had the best intentions in mind.

But as often happens in the police department, different incentives and ego and things got in the way,

Andrew began bending the rules and it led to a pretty

incredible and amazing story. I don't want to give it away. Andrew's going to

tell it all right here in this interview right after a break. Andrew, thank you so much for taking the time to join me today.
