A couple of weeks ago, there was a story in the New York Times about a couple in their 20s getting married, early 30s getting married.

And I just, I kind of, I did a double take on the story.

They were having their wedding in Guatemala and they were American couple white, well, they

weren't Hispanic, they were white kids living in Sarasota, Florida.

They were going to Guatemala for their wedding and they were coming back to buy their

starter home and had $500,000 set aside to buy a home in Sarasota near the downtown area.

I just thought $500,000 is absurd to buy your starter home.

These must be, well, the kids and like people reading this New York Times stuff from

Middle America thinking, I've got to have $500,000.

You know, you need more than you used to, but you don't need $500,000 in most places.

And so many of the conversations in the press now are about the super high prices.
