So welcome back to episode 5 of my reply brief series where I'm doing an episode by episode breakdown and reply to a series

that the prosecutor's podcast did on the Anansiad case. In today's episode I'm

going to be covering their episode five and to be a hundred percent honest it was this

episode that triggered me to create this rebuttal series to begin with. Up until this

point I was listening to their coverage and yes I was a little frustrated because they seemed to be

obviously breezing past some important elements of the case in order to make their

narrative fit but truthfully you have to remember it's been eight years since I

investigated this case so I didn't remember all the details

that I have since shared with you in the series.

And really I had never actually taken the time to use the call logs with Google Maps

to figure out just how actually impossible the state's

theory actually is.

So I was listening to the gym and listening while I was out training my dog and cleaning the barn, but I remember the exact moment when I decided

that something needed to be done here. I was mowing my lawn and listening to

episode five and I heard a series of things that I did remember and I knew were not true.
