Paul Sex has become the tallest rider, think ever to win Fleshwellon.

It's a simple race, so we're going to spoiler it straight off the bat in very simple fashion today.

What an extraordinary afternoon, what an extraordinary day.

If the race itself wasn't extraordinary, then the result I would suggest to you is pretty extraordinary.

Yeah, the result is extraordinary.

We were telegraphing this yesterday, weren't we?

I think, I mean, I was very confident that Paul Seck would win,

despite not ever seeing him race the Moudaou or the Ardennes Classics or really any, you know, any race where he has started in this fashion as a favourite, other really than Stradabianca at the start of the spring, where he was second, of course, behind rampaging Tadei Pogacchar. I just wish that I could have placed a bet on it. I don't really bet on sport. Well, I don't know. He was very low, he was very low odds, Lionel. We talked about that yesterday. He was the favourite, in fact. Yeah. And he was the debutant, the first debutant to win Fleshwallone since Mark Hershey in 2020.

And we've talked a lot, haven't we, over the years, about the Mirderui being this sort of secret code that riders sometimes take several years to crack.

And some very good riders struggled to get to grips with the Mirdahui.

Some never managed to conquer it.

But Paul Sexas has won at the first attempt.

I mean, even Tadei Pogacchar took four goes to win it, the flesh will own.

So that gives a little bit of context to the sort of scale of the victory we've seen today.
