Delighted to have you with me. We have a series of items of breaking news hitting the wires as I come on air right now.

Let me deal with them in reverse order. We begin with the most recent.

Christy Noam, Secretary of Homeland Security, just announcing that Customs and Border Patrol has had the lowest number of nationwide encounters in documented American history at 25,243,

that is, encounters with illegal aliens, that's 12% lower than the previous record set in February of 2025.

Now, that doesn't mean obviously documented American history.

We've only been keeping the records for a couple of decades.

But that's actually monumental that we have the lowest number of encounters ever reported

from the Department of Homeland Security, Customs, Border Patrol in American history.

In other words, people are genuinely illegal aliens staying away, staying out of the country, and self-deporting.
