Graham, I wondered whether you've looked at the publicity caravan, rollout of the Stark Town, at the Tour de France, and thought, oh, that looks fun.

I thought I'll have a bit of that.

Funnily enough, I've never thought that.

I've probably scrambled for a green scoda hat at some point as a

memento for one or two people back home, but I've never, no, never, never really had an ambition

to be part of it. But strangely enough, well Graham, you're in luck.

Tonight, Matthew, I'm going to be, or today, Matthew, I'm going to be on the publicity caravan.

I have arranged for you to take part in the greatest show on earth, Graham, the publicity caravan.

We're going to get to the start very early.

So apologies for the early start this morning, but we need to be there in good time because you've got to be kitted up to go on the back of one of these floats.

Now, I've seen some of these crazy vehicles going out.

I had hoped you might be in a giant watermelon or a big mobile box of soap washing powder or something like that but you're on the basic fit

float we'll go and find out what this entails but there was some kind of little float we saw

the other morning that looked a bit like a sort of a little car a little car it looked like a sort of weightlifter's belt didn't it the the

granny mobile is that what we're talking about here that's what it looked like to me the one the one

that had a little man sitting in it i don't think they're going to let you drive which is a shame

that would be something to see but let's get to the start and see what you have in store for you today.

Mercifully, it's the time trial stage. So you're only going to be on the publicity caravan for 33 kilometres.

You're not going to do a full sort of four and a half hours out there in the baking sun. It's a little taster of what the,

they're relatively young people on the publicity caravan, aren't they?

Because I think they've got to be energetic and fun-loving and fit.
