Summary

Bob begins this short episode with his thoughts on the final conclusion of The Prosecutors' series on the Adnan Syed case.  We get a sneak peak into the work he's doing on the case in the Patreon Bonus series.  After that, Bob reveals the plan for the next several weeks.  Next Sunday he will begin a multi-part series on the wrongful conviction of Luke Mitchell.  This is a Scottish case.  Luke was just 14 years old, when he was accused of killing his 14 year old girlfriend, Jodi Jones.  The case has all the "trappings" of the WM3 case.  This is just a brief introduction before next week's first episode of the series.

Hey, everybody, and welcome back to Truth and Justice.

0:47.1

This week, we're going to start a multi-part series about a wrongful conviction case that

0:51.3

several UK listeners have asked me to cover.

0:54.8

At this point, my plan is to share some of the details about the case and not necessarily

0:58.5

make this a full-on, deep dive season, but we'll see how that goes.

1:04.3

We're going to do whatever we can to help at the very least drum up some support and awareness

1:08.5

about the case.

1:10.0

From what I've read so far, the case is fascinating, and it appears to have been a terrible injustice.

1:16.1

The case is the murder of Jody Jones and the apparent wrongful conviction of then 14-year-old

1:22.7

Luke Mitchell.

1:24.7

But before I start laying out the basic facts of Luke's case, I first want to quickly touch

1:28.9

on something that I think is hard as I try, I just can't keep quiet about.

1:34.3

And that's the final episode of the prosecutor's analysis of the Anonsai Ed case.

1:38.8

As most of you know, I'm doing an episode by episode deep dive breakdown of their coverage

1:44.2

on Patreon, where we're really getting into the weeds about all of this stuff, every detail,

1:49.0

every case file, anything they got wrong, anything they got right.

1:52.8

In that series, I'm going to be digging super deep into the final theories that they

1:55.8

presented, but here I just want to take a few minutes and respond to the social media

1:59.9

uproar about their conclusions, since it's happening right now.

2:03.9

Now, if you have no interest in the Anonsai Ed case, or you're just sick of hearing about

2:07.6

it, feel free to skip ahead to the ad break, and you don't need to listen to any of this.

2:12.6

But if you do care, and you did listen to their conclusions, or you've seen social media
