Fallet for August 18th. This week we dove into the missing persons case of Caden Black

out of Rightsville, Pennsylvania, and we heard from Caden's mother Cara about his last

known actions. It's pretty obvious by now that I'm back in studio with Bob and Janet.

This episode raised a lot of questions and brought up some theories. But before we get

into that, Bob, do you have any housekeeping notes to get into?

All right, yes, we have kind of a big housekeeping thing going on. I'm struggling to explain

this because it's hard to explain where we're going from here. But here's the thing.

So when we started this season, I keep mentioning that I've learned a lot from this season.

And one of the things that I've learned, and I said this few weeks ago, was that a lot

of the stats that we have about missing persons are they're not inaccurate, but they're

misleading. You know, there's 600,000 children reported missing every year. So it seemed

like we're going to walk into like there's tons of every day, all these cases of missing

kids. When when those statistics of a large portion of them are like teen runaways that

are generally in a lot of cases are found the neck. The report goes out. They're found

an hour later. The report goes out to find the next day. Some of them are people that

just are have just left. There's a lot of them that are like custodial parent issues.

So that was kind of struggle number one as we as we started with this was there's not

we do get a ton of cases submitted to us all the time. But you'd be shocked how many of

them. And as I mentioned last week, Eric, a cancer has been helping like put us in contact.
