It was a beautiful lunch, wasn't it? But it kind of all went slightly downhill from there.

We, today's stage had an enormous off-root driving itinerary which we followed but we got caught behind the

race when we rejoined a part of the the race route in order to get to the finish

which meant enormous traffic jams on the one road through this

valley in the Alps. So then that happened, so then it looked pretty unlikely that we were going

to make it to the finish. so we found a bar and we

sat and we watched the race in the bar. Bar to back restaurant, bar to

pizza place, bank, vape shop. It was the center of that particular universe, wasn't it?
