well, talk about a very specific topic for the next little while. I want to give you some history.

It's something you learn in a lot of times if you learn about the New Deal in college,

if you take American history, 20th century American history, if you take a con law class,

you learn about something called the switch in time that saved nine.

Now, there has been some historic revisionism in the last 15 years about it,

but prior to that, it hasn't really been disputed, and most historians don't dispute it now either.

It's just some progressives don't like how it portrays progressives.

And so they've tried to rearrange history.

The switch in time that saved nine was something that happened in the United States Supreme Court in the late 1930s, early 1940s.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt got elected during the Great Depression, and Roosevelt

began an aggressive expansion of the federal government to try to take command of the

American economy, control it, and get us out of the recession.

But he was faced with a conservative United States Supreme Court that regularly struck down his proposals.

The United States Supreme Court kept killing the early New Deal plans.
