I get a lot of flack from people on my own side because I when everybody, and this is, by the way, this is my personality trait and it always has been.

I mean, going back to like elementary school, I can remember situations.

When everybody heads in a direction, I tend to dig in my heels and wait. I just always have.

And when all of my friends on the right tend to rush in a particular direction, I tend to

either stand still or go in the opposite direction.

I have always disliked the herd mentality that happens in politics.

Particularly this day and age, the news travels so fast. People rush and then, I guess,

while back, we saw this with Trump all the time. People would rush to defend things that Donald Trump said. And then he would come out, say, I didn't say that. I mean, he had said it, but he denied that he said it. And all these people look like clowns who were defending what he said. And it became this, yeah, well, I mean, he said it, but he didn't mean it. And we were defending his right to say it. It he was embarrassing. And people who have no sense of shame of which there are many, it just, the whole thing was just, I found it embarrassing.

And I just tend not to.

When everybody tells me I got to do something, I tend not to do it.

I remember when I was in college, I was in this program. It was called the freshman seminar program.

Two instances. Trust me, this is related to the news. Trust me. One, we had to go on a camp out. And, you know, I got to college and I was told specifically that when you went to college, you're your own person.

There's going to be no more making you get to bed, no more making you make your bed, no more doing this, no more doing this, you're kind of your own person. So I resented like hell that they mandatory camping trip. I didn't mind camping. I like to camp. I like used to. I kind of like the ritz more now, but I liked camp. I did not like to be made to go camping.

And so I went. I like used to. I kind of like the Ritz more now, but I liked camp. But I did not like to be made to go camping.

And so I went and I flat out refused to do any of the activities. Would not do it. They could not make it.

They couldn't hold it against me. It was expressly a camping trip was what I was told I had to do. I didn't have to do all the group hug thing, the trust falls and the crap like that. So I wasn't going to. It was my subtle protest. I do not like these herd mentalities. I do not like being told. There are things that I must do when I was first told I didn't have to do it. It's just my personality trait. The other one was in the same class. I had a, this was, I went to a Baptist school. And it was Baptist, I can use air quotes to say, but it was still technically a Baptist school, Mercia University. And the, the program that I was in, the teacher, was very far left feminist.
