The Federal Aviation Administration ordered a ground stop across America this morning, shutting down all travel by air across America. If you were in the air,

you could land, but you were not then allowed to take off again. It was because of a failure

of the Notam system, Notum, N-O-T-A-M. It stands for notice to air missions.

And so what this does, I've had a lot of, so I have a lot of pilots who listen to my show.

My flagship station is in Atlanta where Delta is headquarter.

There's a big Southwest hub.

I have a lot of Delta and Southwest pilots.

Now I've got a couple of JetBlue UPS and FedEx pilots who listen, who regularly text me,

send me information.

I love aviation.

I wanted my pilot's license and now that I'm in radio in the position I'm in, I'm

not allowed to do it.

One day I want enough money to fly on priority jet instead of taking delta

but i love flying on delta i know a number of the pilots they've been very kind to me

even as i i think the food on first class is crap um but that's okay it's neither in or there it's just

so fru-frew it's like someone went to noma and decided I'm going to plate your food with tweezers and serve you worms.

It's just disgusting stuff.

But nonetheless, I digress.

So the Nodem system allows pilots to learn information in real time

as events occur.
